Yesterday’s class was filled with beautiful moments and enjoyable games. As we played and had fun, we received a valuable lesson on the importance of gratitude and thankfulness. We are deeply grateful to God for every experience and opportunity He has given us. Thank you for this special day, which has brought us closer and helped us understand the value of being thankful.

"Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever."

Psalm 136:1

In our quiet classroom, the teacher tried to explain the meaning of the "small seed." With deep emotion, he said: “Although the small seed is very small, it can grow into a large and powerful tree. The same is true for our lives. If we plant in our hearts faith in God, love for family, kindness, and help towards others, these values will grow and help us become great and strong people.” The children felt a profound understanding of the importance of their small actions and how they contribute to a life filled with meaning and goodness.

Matthew 17:20

"He replied, 'Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, "Move from here to there," and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.'"

For us, engaging with children extends beyond the classroom. At the start of this new school season, we have worked diligently to reach out to children wherever they are. We provided small aids and had the opportunity to meet with other community members. These meetings were fruitful and allowed us to extend a warm welcome, as we welcomed five new children into our group. Our commitment to supporting and assisting children, as well as building strong connections with the community, remains a top priority for us.

In our classroom filled with energy and curiosity, the children gathered to learn about Jesus and the love He has for them. The teacher explained that, although some people thought Jesus didn’t have time for children, He always welcomed them with open arms. "Why does Jesus love children?" asked one of the students. The teacher responded that Jesus sees the innocence and sincerity of children, and this is a pure love that delights His heart.

When the disciples tried to send the children away, Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven." The children were amazed: "Why did others think He didn’t have time for us?" The teacher explained that sometimes adults forget what it’s like to have a heart like that of children—

to be open, loving, and without prejudice.

And what did this lesson teach us? It taught us that to be part of the kingdom of heaven, we must have a heart like that of children, which is innocent and gives unconditional love. This heart is the key to understanding and experiencing Jesus’ love.

"But Jesus said, 'Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.'"

Matthew 19:14

This profound message remains in the hearts of the children, encouraging them to preserve their innocence and pure love.

A special trip with the children of the Roma community was organized to the ancient city of Apollonia, located in Fier. This was a wonderful opportunity to bring the children face to face with history and culture, helping them see what had happened in the ancient world.

During the visit, a history guide explained to the children the significance of Apollonia, one of the most famous cities of the Illyrians, helping them understand the rich cultural heritage they possess. The children wandered through the streets of the city, marveling at the amphitheater and ancient temples while imagining the daily lives of the people who once inhabited this place.

This trip was not only a lesson in history but also an opportunity to spend quality time together. The children engaged in fun activities, playing and laughing, creating unforgettable memories. The trip provided a different experience outside the classroom, which helped the children develop knowledge and love for their culture.

In the end, this activity was an inspiration for everyone, encouraging the children to explore more and follow their passions for history and art. The journey to Apollonia became an unforgettable event that will remain in the hearts of the children and motivate them to dream bigger.
